BioOne Announces New Titles Joining 2008 Collection

BioOne (www.bioone.org) is pleased to welcome 17 new titles from 12 publishers to the 2008 BioOne Collections. Four titles will join BioOne.1, eight will join BioOne.2, and five titles from Conservation International will expand the growing BioOne Open Access Collection. In addition, we are pleased to note the increase in ISI ranked content. BioOne now features 95 ISI ranked titles—a robust 66% of its total holdings, including five titles that earned an impact factor for the first time in 2007. To access a comprehensive list of titles and publishers for all three BioOne collections—BioOne.1, BioOne.2, and BioOne Open Access—please visit our website.

2008 pricing for BioOne.1 will increase 5% across most pricing bands from 2007 rates. Despite the significant increase in content, the 2008 rates for BioOne.2 will not increase. This move reflects BioOne’s commitment to make it easier for libraries to add these important titles to their collections. To schedule a free trial or for more pricing information, please contact Jessica Hays of Amigos Library Services at hays@amigos.org. BioOne values feedback from the library community on content development and pricing issues. Please feel free to contact Lauren Kane, BioOne Director of Publisher Relations, with any questions or concerns at lauren@arl.org.
