BioOne at the 2014 Charleston Conference

The Stakeholder Tightrope: How Three Nonprofit Aggregators Balance Library & Publisher Needs┬áis a Charleston Conference session featuring speakers from BioOne, Project MUSE, and Project Euclid who will describe their organization’s experience balancing stakeholders’ interests and those strategies, programs, and models that have proven successful.

As the product of a library-publisher collaboration, BioOne was designed to meet the needs of both communities, not one at the expense of the other. Lauren Kane of BioOne will describe the ‘economics of equitability,’ and how the organization has had to continually evolve its business model to support finance sustainability for its library and publisher participants.

Join the discussion on Thursday, November 6, 12:45pm-2:00pm in the Ashley Room at the Couryard Marriot (125 Calhoun Street).
